POLISH MILITARY CONSPIRACY IN THE TARNOPOL REGION (1939–1944)

This article presents the history of Polish military conspiracy in the pre-war Tarnopol Voivodeship. In his text, the author tried to show the activities of military conspiracy structures in this area, directed against the Germans, Soviets and Ukrainians. In his considerations, he did not omit such an important and relatively little-known phenomenon as the history of Polish self-defense in this area. It was thanks to the self-defense soldiers that large concentrations of the Polish population in this area managed to survive. At the end of the article, the author presented the course of Operation Burza in the Tarnopol region.
