STUDY ON THE EFFECTIVENESS OF USING APPLICATIONS QUIZWHIZZER AND GENIAL.LY DURING LESSONS OF POLISH AS A FOREIGN LANGUAGE
The main purpose of this article is to present the results of the study on the use of QuizWhizzer and genial.ly as tools for consolidating vocabulary during Polish lessons for foreigners. The first part of the text presents the characteristics of the experimental and control groups and describes the method of action research, which was the basis of the ex-periment. Then the article presents the free and paid versions of the application and their possibilities. They were tested during nine lessons conducted in three cycles. The summary of each part was a test checking the knowledge of students. The effects of their work are listed in the table. Student opinions from questionnaires completed after the experiment are also discussed. The article is part of the discussion on the application of the strategy of ludicity in foreign language lessons, especially Polish.
