FOREIGN LANGUAGE ELEMENTS IN THE PHRASEOLOGY OF THE RUSS IAN DIALECT OF OLD BELIEVERS LIVING IN POLAND
The Russian Old Believers on the Polish territory appeared in the 18th century. Over the centuries they had contacts with the Belarusian-speaking, Lithuanian-speaking, Polish-speaking and in Masuria also German-speaking populations. These contacts resulted in the presence of foreign-language elements in their Russian dialect, most of all in the field of lexis, but also in the phraseology. The aim of this article is to present foreign-language elements noted in the phraseology of the Russian dialect of the Old Believers living in Poland.
