Synopsis

THE TIME AND THE APOCALYPSE IN DOSTOEVSKII’S WORKS

The article analyzes the category of time in the works of Dostoevskii, it is established that for a writer of extraordinary importance was the time stop, understand them and as a Christian day of judgment, and as a Apocalypse, and as the output of one spatial dimension to another. In the novel The Brothers Karamazov Dostoevskii subjected to artistic analysis of his concept of a multi-world, in which a person is connected with the outer space of a living direct connection, the strength of which is directly determined by his moral state. The article shows a number of interpretations of the writer’s ideas drawn from the Revelation of John the theologian, as well as natural science literature of his time.
