POLITICAL ROMANTICISM IN GERMANY. REPRESENTATIVES, IDEAS, A MODEL
Two tasks were completed in the present work. Firstly, a current, known in the history of political thought as political romanticism in Germany, was presented. Secondly, a paradigm of political romanticism was created. The present study attempts to draw an entire spectrum of socio-political problems approached by German political romantics. This political current was never previously studied in Poland, and, except for the manuals of history of political thought, where it is always embodied, there exist no monographic analysis of this subject in Polish. The goal is to state, in an unambiguous manner, which of German thinkers form this current, what writings constitute a canon of texts of German political romantics, and what ideas constitute this stream. This first goal serves the second, as the principal task of the book is to elaborate a project of a paradigm of political romanticism. This works aims to point out universal and timeless categories, characteristic for political romanticism, which could be used for political analysis of any period. The goal is, therefore, to create an ideal type, as according to Max Weber.
