The article analyzes the strategies employed by the political party Confederation Liberty and Independence (Konfederacja Wolność i Niepodległość) between 2019 and 2024 in relation to climate change and climate policy. Disinformation in this area serves a mobilizing function, amplifying audience emotions and undermining the legitimacy of pro-climate actions. The study examines media statements, social media activity, parliamentary speeches, and the party’s official documents. The party’s messaging is analyzed for consistency with its core principles, such as Euroscepticism, anti-elitism, and distrust of institutions. The article also traces the evolution of Confederation’s narrative on climate change and climate policy in 2019-2024. The article aims to demonstrate that climate disinformation is a deliberate tool in the party’s political strategy.
