THE 1917 REVOLUTION IN THE POLITICAL PROCESSES OF PRESENT-DAY RUSSIA

The article considers the strategy and tactics of the government in relation to the 100th anniversary of the Revolution in Russia. Despite a large number of scientific and information events, questions difficult for the authorities pertaining to the causes of the Russian Revolution and the mistakes on the part of the authorities of the Russian Empire did not become part of public debate. The Communist Party of the Russian Federation failed to take advantage of the anniversary and to consolidate the image of the party as capable of carrying the ideals of freedom and justice.
