“CONCEALED – REVEALED.” ABOUT RELATIONSHIPS BETWEEN ACADEMIC RESEARCH PRACTICES AND SCHOOL EXPERIENCES OF DISCOVERING NOT ONLY LOCALISM
The author refers to the contemporary research practices bearing on localism and new regionalism and shows their connection with the developments in teaching. This serves as the background to present an educational hands-on project about the Greater Poland Uprising. She claims that school actions need not exclusively be aimed at transmission of the developments arising within various academic disciplines of the humanities, but run parallel to them and correspond with the recent trends in cognition of the most immediate historical-cultural reality, described by researchers.
