Author Biography

Iga Machnik, Jagiellonian University in Kraków

Is a doctoral student in the Society of the Future program at Jagiellonian University’s Social Sciences Doctoral School. A recipient of the Copernicus Society of America’s scholarship that facilitated independent research at Dickinson College, Carlisle, Pennsylvania for the purpose of the master’s thesis. Her main research interests focus on the United States Supreme Court, American election laws, American South, policies of desegregation and the clash of law and politics.
