Synopsis

Author Biography

Alicja Murawa, Jagiellonian University in Kraków

Is a master’s student at the Jagiellonian University’s American Studies program in Krakow. She earned her bachelor’s degree in 2022, after defending her thesis on Sir John Franklin’s Arctic expedition. Her interests include the history of American land exploration, oral histories of Indigenous peoples, the history of discrimination and racism, as well as the American method of warfare. She is actively involved in the American Studies Academic Circle.
