CONTROLLING EMOTIONS IN RUSSIAN POLITICAL DISCOURSE
The article examines the concept of reflexive control as a strategic method of psychological and informational influence, focusing on its role in shaping perceptions and decision-making processes. Reflexive control is analyzed in the context of hybrid warfare, particularly within information and psychological operations, which are increasingly significant in modern geopolitical conflicts. The study presents key mechanisms of cognitive manipulation, including misinformation, propaganda, and psychological conditioning, and highlights the role of cognitive biases, emotional influence, and group dynamics in making societies susceptible to these tactics.
By analyzing reflexive control within the broader framework of contemporary information warfare, this study underscores its impact on political discourse, societal structures, and strategic decision-making in both national and international contexts.
