FLORIAŃSKA 10. HENRYK VOGLER’S MYSTICISM OF PLACE

In this text I would like to put Henryk Vogler, a Cracow man of letters, in a specific location; a place in which interactions take place between the “I” of a writer and a Cracow city, more precisely Floriańska Street where the writer’s post-war apartment was situated. I am trying to show how being in one place has an impact on creating Vogler’s identity. I introduce the elements that create both an attempt of describing an entity and correlation between a writer and the city.
