Nauczanie języka polskiego jako obcego w perspektywie refleksyjnej i kulturowej

THE TEACHING OF POLISH AS A FOREIGN LANGUAGE FROM A REFLECTIVE AND CULTURAL PERSPECTIVE
The basic aim presented in this book is participation in discussion about culture in the teaching and learning of foreign languages us- ing the example of Polish. These reflections focus around the key concepts – independent conceptions – of interculturality, transcul- turality, and reflectiveness from the perspective of glottodidactics oriented towards the humanities and pedagogics, which makes use of interdisciplinarity. Beginning with a description of the set of instruments of work and its language, I problematize the following key concepts: culture, reflectiveness, interculturality, and transculturality in order to proceed to a description of the reflective glottodidactic process, indi- cating reflectiveness, autonomy, semi-autonomy, constructivism, and transmissiveness. Next, I describe the conceptions of culture from the perspective of cultural (social) anthropology, pedagog- ics, philosophy, and (cultural and intercultural) linguistics. Next, I characterize approaches to culture in the glottodidactic process from the perspectives of institutional and general glottodidactics, as well as from those of German, Romance, and English studies. I de- vote a significant part of the description to culture in Polish studies glottodidactics and in the teaching of the Polish language, from the perspective of non-verbal and rational practice; cultural studies and life and institutions; and the intercultural and transcultural perspective. I also subject didactic, methodical, and program-related solutions to analysis. I conclude my elucidation with an analysis of conversations of an ethnographic type with those who learn and those who teach Polish as a foreign language.
