Studia polsko-litewskie
POLISH-LITHUANIAN STUDIES
This international publishing series is dedicated to research on the language and culture of Poland and Lithuania in both synchronic and diachronic aspects. It includes the publication of monographs and studies in the fields of cultural and axiological linguistics, ethno-theology, sociolinguistics, and language contact. The works also address issues of identity in the linguistic and cultural borderland, analysed from both Polish and Lithuanian perspectives.
More:
The publishing series is the result of cooperation between Polish and Lithuanian researchers representing various academic institutions in Poland and Lithuania. The publications feature authorial monographs and thematic collective volumes that present the results of research on the value systems embedded in Polish and Lithuanian languages, ethnic stereotypes, cultural lexicon, and phenomena of mutual influences at various levels of language. The research is based on broadly understood cultural texts: language corpora, dialect narratives, general and dialect dictionaries, literary and religious texts. The authors of the series include both experienced scholars and young researchers just beginning their academic journey.
